Hey there, beautiful soul! I'm Lyndsey! I spend my days serenely hand painting mandalas in my studio in Hampshire, UK.
My art is created with devotion and intuition, using the meditative practice of repetitive brushstrokes and dots. If you are looking for art and creative experiences intended to calm and inspire, then welcome to Soul Serenity Mandalas.
The Back Story
While teaching and organising a busy home life, I was looking for something to calm my nervous system and quieten my overthinking brain. I stumbled across a mandala painting process reel on Instagram and knew it was something I needed to try. As soon as I put dotting tool to paper, I was hooked. The "to-do list" in my head stoped running out of control and for the first time in a long time, I had space to breathe and reconnect with my own voice.
I made the difficult decision to leave teaching in 2024 and have been painting mandalas ever since. In 2025, I decided to share the mindful benefits of this practice with others and began teaching intimate and serene workshops for all abilities.
What are Mandalas?
The word mandala comes from the ancient Sanskrit language, where it translates to "circle" or "centre". They symbolise the universe, inner purity and connection to the cosmos. They are found all over the world and within a variety religions. Creating the repetitive symmetrical, intricate patterns is a meditation and a way to find inner peace.
My Artwork
I fell in love with the process of painting mandalas for the tranquility and this is what you will find in the majority of my artworks and workshops. The colour palettes I use are often peaceful and calm. I often use florals and play around with the concept of symmetry and the interplay of organic and structured designs. My work is often inspired by nature, the seasons and astrology. My latest collection also incorporates my first love, birds.
Whether bringing a mandala into your home or experiencing the creative process for yourself, they transmit positive and healing energies into the environment and our souls.
Thank you for visiting my little circular space of serenity, I hope you find something that speaks to you.
